About Us

Founded in 1983, our Mile High Café Leisure Farm has over more than 30 years in the history of Ginger Garden located at Miaoli. The unique climate at the misty mountain hills landscape is ideally farming such as gingers, peaches, plums and vegetables.

We adhere to the business philosophy of “Respect the land, Kindness to Nature”. The farm is managed by the 2nd generation of rural youths. We believe in “Environmentally-friendly Farming” planted the crops with no pesticides, no chemical fertilizers to get the best freshness crops to all visitors and let them taste the nature of soil. Bring closer and become part of the nature family.

Visitor is able to enjoy unique ginger cuisine in restaurant at the same time can pick the fresh fruits and vegetables by own self. You can even consider to stay overnight to experience the mountain camping lifestyle. Mile High Café brings you a simple and warm holiday where you can slow down your pace and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Milestones

  • 1983 Founded “Cloud Mountain” Tourist Farm, offering fruit farmer experiences to visitors.
  • 1996 Renamed “Yundonxian” Tourist Farm
  • 1998 Renamed “Yundonxianju” Tourist Farm, adding accommodation services
  • 2004 Joined Tien Ma Ma Farming Village Coaching Project and started the ginger themed catering service
  • 2012 Renamed “Mile High Café” Leisure Farm, offering diverse services, such as Hakka ginger cuisine, fruit picking experience, recreational homestay, forest camping, etc.

* Southbound:

Exit from the Miaoli Interchange on Sun Yat-sen Freeway, continue on Provincial Highway 72 (Taiwan) until Wenshui, turn right, continue on Provincial Highway 3 (Taiwan), turn right at the 137.5 km mark onto Miaoli County Highway 130, and reach the farm at the 27.5 km mark. 

* Northbound:

Exit from the Sanyi Interchange on Sun Yat-sen Freeway, continue on Provincial Highway 13 (Taiwan) heading towards Sanyi, turn right at the 47.8 km mark onto Miaoli County Highway 130, and reach the farm at the 27.5 km mark.
